Rishi Sood heads the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Litigation Practice and has been in active advocacy since 2008. He maintains a substantial practice before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) and Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT). His expertise covers corporate restructuring, insolvency and liquidation proceedings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, debt recovery, shareholder disputes and regulatory litigation under Company Law.
Mr. Sood also maintains a well-developed practice in Education Law, representing educational institutions, universities, regulatory bodies and students in matters involving institutional governance, affiliation disputes, fee regulation, recognition matters and statutory compliance before the NCLT, High Courts and the Supreme Court. His practice is known for procedural command, research depth and sound judgment in commercially sensitive matters.
